Cool that you are going to be with Chapelles brother. Chapelle is the funniest comedian in my opinion.
I just wanted to say a thing. And im not saying this to be rude or anything. You say that rap and hiphop is not so good for the kids and so on but remember rapping was what saved you from the ghetto, and problably saved Tupac also so there is not only bad things with it.
I would like if you contact my email i would like to talk a bit about Islam.
Salaam aleikom! May allah bless you.
Hello josef, thanks for coming to the site, let me explain about the music industry and why I say its not good for me, The music industry is a industry that promotes alot of evil, when I changed my life by accepting islam I no longer felt comfortable living a life of drinking alcohol, fornicating, partying, disrespecting women, etc, The same way you can say rap saved my life and tupac’s its also some that say that the rap life was a cause of the death of tupac, The music industry is a business thats designed to break family and friendships, just look at how many people entered the music industry as best friends and now they hate eachother guts, look at Jay Z and Damon dash, Look at 50 cent and the Game, T he music industry is designed to cause disunity while the rappers dont even recognize it because the money can blind you, Many of us rappers got into the music industry because we was searching for away out of poverty and a life of violence and now it followed us into the music business, I know because I was once a involved in this business, not only that I use to make music promoting this type of life style.
Assalaamu alaykum wa rahmatullaahi wa barakaatuh:
I would like to know where to catch the ‘kickin it with teh youth’ program online tomorrow
jazaakum Allahu khayraa
Assalamu’alaikum.
Akhee, can u give nasheehah to us -the muslims youths in Indonesia- about leaving music (i.e stop listening, playing, etc)? And after your permission, insha Allah we will translate and spread it so muslims here in Indonesia can get benefit from your advice. Jazaakallahu khairan.
Assalamu’alaikum,
yes bro Wira, in Indonesia some of the muslims youth try to become an artist with whatever it cost, Na’udzubillah…..It will be a good article if there is an advice for those that try to pursue this kind of lifestyle from ur point of view as a former “Hollywood Rapper”.
masha’Allah, keep pushing out the dawah. may Allah keep us firm upon Tawheed & the Sunnah, Ameen.
Assalamu Alaikum Brothers,
Thank you so much for sharing this lecture. May Allah reward you all in this life and in the hereafter-ameen
