I know due to your religious beliefs you can no longer be affiliated with hip hop or rap, and i think what you are presently doing is great. I just have a question if you are unable to answer due to bad memories or some sort, or cause of your religion i completely understand. My question is, what was it like knowing Tupac, im a huge fan of him and the outlawz.

    RIP Tupac

  4. Jameelah says:

    Salam alaikum,

In Riyadh? MashaAllah, that’s where my whole family lives. Try to give a speech there, because even though it’s in Saudi Arabia, the youth in Saudi Arabia always think rap and hip hop is sooo cool, and they always try to be gangsta all the time. They would be thinking different if they would hear from Brother Mutah that’s not the way we should live.

May Allah be with ya all,

    Sister J.

  15. Abu Ali says:

    Assalaam alaykum, Br. Mutah.

I regret I did not get a chance to attend your talk while you were in Jeddah. I am sure you made a positive impact on those who attended. May Allah bless you in your renewed efforts to live your life for His sake in His deen. I am an older Muslim with grown up children. One of my sons told me about you. I recently viewed one of your talks in Australia on You Tube and found it very on point. I hope we all learn to focus on the importance of the Qur’an, the Sunnah and learning the Arabic language to help us understand those sources and communicate with many Muslims from the historical Muslim world. However, we do not need to be Arabs. Allah has also decreed a very rich, though troubled heritage and history of Islam in the Americas.

May Allah guide you along your efforts to stay on His Straight Path and grant you success in this life and the hereafter.

    Peace and Guidance

    Abu Ali
