    Dear Brother in Islam,

Allahmdullilah, I came to the event yesterday night at the Logan Hyperdome! you left a bigh impression on me and thought I would just let you know.

Jazakha Allah Khair, it offered some sort of closure to my pre-islamic life.
Am sure you feel this as well, but it’s sad that your late brother 2pac did not become Muslim, but in some way his life ending was the opening to you and the other ex ‘outlaws’ Allah S W T works in marvelous ways!! 2pac’s words were searching words and they where a big part of our lives (my husband’s and I) before we became Muslim. He sounded like he was looking for something. However, I suppose everyone who is without Allah S W T is and always will be searching till they come to HIM the Almighty, insha Allah.

The best part for me was when you described your first reading of the quran. As a poet and being around lyrical geniuses.. your recognized that only Allah S W T the almighty could have written this. It reminded me of the ayat of the quran where Allah S W T challenges the poets of Mecca (who were poets of the highest quality) to bring a verse like it!! and no one can!! you were among this day an age poets and Almighty Allah opened your heart and showed you the light.

I also identify with the ease you feel with the remembrance of Allah..! no high is better than this for sure!! I have read somewhere that if you do not taste the sweetness of faith in this life then you will not taste the sweetness of either janaat or faith in the next life (not sure exactly). May Allah bless the brother who incessantly called you every day to the masjid..(maybe I should adopt this method of dawa for my family!!)

I pray that Allah S W T continues to open your heart, make you a light among the darkness and continue bringing more to Islam through you, your brothers and family. May Allah S W T put you on the path that will lead to complete knowledge of HIM. Ameen.

    And Jazakha Allah Khair again.

    Ma Salama.

I missed your event in Wollongong but apparently it was a big success. I had an exam that night :'( Nevertheless, I watched an interview of you on the DeenShow – definitely inspirational and made me question the bad choices I made of late.

    Thank you
    May Allah reward (Amin)

  19. mutah says:

@ Raed salam alaikum thank you for visiting my website, first of all brother no one is perfect we are all in the same case of trying and striving to get closer to Allah, my advice to you brother is make alot of dua and do towbah ask Allah to forgive you even if we sin every day we should continue to make repentance. The Prophet said that every son of adam is a sinner but those who are best from amongst the sinners are those who to towbah (Repentance) also brother your companionship plays a role on your deen, as the Prophet said the man is on the religion of his friends, The Prophet also said we will be raised up on the day of judgment with those who we love, so our love should be for the Prophet and sahabas not for people who call to evil with in their music or people who life style contradicts Islam, may Allah guide us and you
